  • Real Ventures
Overview of the Real Ventures program:

Canadian entrepreneurial success is all about collaboration and connection. Over the past 14 years, we have participated in the growth of one of the most vibrant tech communities in the world. By learning from international examples, honing in on our strengths, and rolling up our sleeves and building impactful programs, networks and resources, we’ve not only seen massive success for the companies we back, we’ve also witnessed the flourishing of the ecosystems in which they thrive.

Benefits of the Real Ventures program:
  • Real Ventures typically invests between $250,000 to $750,000, with additional capital available for follow-on investment. In addition to capital, Real Ventures supports its portfolio companies by providing recruiting services, access to a corporate network, workshops and briefings, relationships with preferred service providers, and help with PR and press relations.
Eligibility criteria of the Real Ventures program:
  • There is no standard answer, but there are three main things that we look for: a great team with unique insight on a market opening that has massive scaling potential. We like to hear bold ideas that have the potential to disrupt unconventional industries.
