Overview of the BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund- Rotational Grazing program:

The Rotational Grazing Program, part of the BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund (BCCAF), helps Canadian farmers implement sustainable and climate-resilient grazing practices. By adopting rotational grazing methods, farmers can optimize pasture productivity, improve soil health, reduce erosion, and enhance water retention. These practices also contribute to carbon sequestration, supporting Canada’s climate goals and making farms more resilient to climate change. The program can also increase livestock performance by providing more nutritious and well-managed grazing areas.

Eligibility criteria of the BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund- Rotational Grazing program:
  • Location: Open to farmers in British Columbia, Canada.
  • Who the Program is For: Farmers and ranchers who own or manage grazing land and are interested in implementing or enhancing rotational grazing practices.
  • Additional Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to improving grazing management, contributing to climate resilience, and meeting sustainability goals. The land must be actively used for livestock grazing, and applicants may be required to show baseline data or current practices that would benefit from rotational grazing improvements.
