Overview of the Lands and Economic Services Development program:

The Aboriginal Business and Entrepreneurship Development (ABED) program is designed to support Indigenous entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations across Canada. The program provides funding and advisory services to help establish or expand businesses, create jobs, and promote economic development in Indigenous communities. The focus is on fostering sustainable business growth and enhancing the economic self-sufficiency of Indigenous peoples.

  • The business should be either in the start-up phase or seeking to expand.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a viable business idea with potential for sustainability and growth.
