The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Grow Grant is designed to support organizations in expanding and enhancing their community-based projects to achieve greater impact across Ontario.

Overview of the OTF Grow Grant program:

The OTF Grow Grant aims to provide funding for not-for-profit organizations and charities to help grow existing programs or launch new activities that contribute to building healthy and vibrant communities in Ontario. This grant focuses on funding initiatives that align with OTF’s priority outcomes across various sectors, including active lifestyles, youth engagement, environmental stewardship, arts and culture, and social inclusion. The grant seeks to support projects that are evidence-based, involve collaborative efforts, and have the potential to create sustainable and measurable community impact. Funding provided through the Grow Grant enables organizations to broaden their reach, strengthen their capacity, and increase their program effectiveness.

Eligibility criteria of the OTF Grow Grant program:
  • To qualify for the Grow Grant, organizations must:
  • Be either a registered charity, an Indigenous community or organization, or an incorporated not-for-profit.
  • Operate within Ontario and serve communities across the province.
  • Demonstrate that the proposed project aligns with at least one of the OTFs six Action Areas (active people, connected people, green people, inspired people, prosperous people, and promising young people).
  • Have a clear, evidence-based plan for growth, sustainability, and community impact.
  • Meet all OTF requirements regarding governance, operations, and financial health.
