Eligibility criteria of the artsvest National program:
  • To be eligible for artsvest Toronto, organizations must:
  • Be a registered non-profit arts, heritage or culture organization.
  • Have an operating budget of less than $1.5 million per year.
  • Demonstrate an interest and need for training in sponsorship, marketing, governance, and/or fund development.
  • Be located in the City of Toronto.
  • Priority will be given to organizations that:
  • Serve Indigenous, Black, or other equity-deserving communities through their mandate and/or major programming.
  • Work in the area of community-engaged arts.
  • Have five or fewer full-time year-round employees.
  • Operate programs primarily outside the downtown core.
  • Are BIPOC-led.
