Overview of the Driven for Small Business program:

The Driven for Small Business Program, launched by DRIVEN, is a nationwide initiative aimed at empowering small businesses across Canada with visibility, expert resources, and promotional tools to expand their market reach. This program is particularly tailored to help small businesses that are looking for new ways to attract customers, scale operations, and improve digital presence without incurring high marketing costs. DRIVEN leverages its media network, including television and digital platforms, to showcase participating businesses, effectively giving them free nationwide exposure. Participants in the program may be featured in DRIVEN’s business segments or commercials on Citytv and other partner media outlets. Beyond media exposure, selected businesses also receive business coaching, storytelling assistance, and access to branding tools. Unlike grant or loan programs, this initiative provides in-kind support, specifically marketing value, visibility, and expert advice instead of direct cash funding. The program is open to entrepreneurs in various industries, particularly those in early or growth stages, and applicants are encouraged to demonstrate their community impact, business uniqueness, and commitment to Canadian markets. There is no fee to apply, and participation is entirely sponsored by DRIVEN. Businesses selected for the program will also be featured on DRIVEN’s website and in their promotional channels, enabling them to gain broad reach and consumer recognition.
