Overview of the #GreenMyCity Grant program:

The #GreenMyCity initiative is designed to enhance urban green spaces, including parks, community gardens, sports fields, and public open spaces. It aims to improve air, soil, and water quality, reduce urban noise, and cool city temperatures while encouraging physical activity, stress relief, and social interaction. Eligible projects must be located on publicly owned land and provide open access to the community. The program promotes community involvement by encouraging applicants to engage volunteers, secure local support, and contribute to the project. Funding can cover up to 50% of the project’s green space improvements, with additional support in the form of plants, turf, and landscaping materials provided by the foundation’s national partnerships.
