Overview of the JEDI - Indigenous Internship Program program:

JEDI partners with host organizations to provide job placements to recent Indigenous post-secondary graduates. The IIP participants benefit by gaining on-the-job experience, skills, and capabilities in their field of study with a long-term objective of securing full-time employment with the host organization.

Benefits of the JEDI - Indigenous Internship Program program:
  • Get up to $45,000 to cover 100% of the wages when you hire a recent Indigenous post-secondary graduate for a maximum of 2 years
Eligibility criteria of the JEDI - Indigenous Internship Program program:
  • To qualify for this program, the following criteria must be met:
  • Host organizations eligible for the Indigenous Internship Program include:
    • Provincial and Federal government departments and agencies
    • Crown Corporations
    • Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs)
    • Not-for-profit organizations
    • Indigenous communities and organizations
