Overview of the Innisfil Community Foundation program:

The Innisfil Community Foundation (ICF) Community Grant Program provides targeted funding to support organizations that enhance the well-being and sustainability of the Innisfil community. The program funds registered charities and other qualified donees to deliver impactful programs, services, and initiatives within the Town of Innisfil. The grants are designed to support projects that align with ICF’s strategic priorities, which include equity, climate action, and community well-being. The Foundation places strong emphasis on collaborative initiatives that involve community partnerships and engage those with lived experience. Preference is given to projects that actively remove barriers, support systemic change, and advance equity and inclusion, particularly for underserved populations. ICF encourages applications for projects that are either new, ongoing, or one-time initiatives and that show potential for meaningful community impact. Applicants must demonstrate sound governance, financial accountability, and the ability to carry out the proposed project. Grant recipients are required to report on outcomes and use of funds. ICF also prioritizes transparency, learning, and impact measurement as part of its funding approach.
